Alcatel-Lucent SLC NON-Forklift Upgrades

LightRiver Technologies specializes in the installation and integration of Alcatel-Lucent optical networking and Access products. The Upgrades on this data sheet DO NOT require the removal of any existing equipment. All upgrades are incremental and modular allowing you to get the most out of your existing equipment and plant.

 

Capacity Upgrades Copper Feeder to OC-3 or OC-12

SLC-2000 ARM Shelf can accept OC-3 or OC-12 optics. Upgrades done in-service.

Series 5 with DDM-2000 OC-3 transport upgraded to OC-12 in the existing chassis.

Advantages Upgraded ring, hub, linear Configurations: node additions, adding subscribers, and increasing DS-1s and DS-3 transport counts. This extends the life of existing equipment while increasing functionality allowing you to get more out of your existing equipment.

DSL in-Lay

Add DSL to existing Alcatel-Lucent SLC equipment. Deploy Alcatel-Lucent MRT (Micro Remote Terminal). A pizza box sized unit that fits into existing outdoor cabinets or racks. MRT aggregates incoming DSL into user selectable DS-1, DS-3, or OC-3.
Advantages The MRT unit allows a rapid and economical addition of DSL services with out having to remove or replace existing equipment. The MRT can use DS-1 of the existing SLC-2000 ARM shelf for backhaul transport to the CO…. What more could any carrier want.
